GSMA Election process for 2020-2021

As per the bylaws, the board has the authorization to alter the election process.  This year, and only for this term, the nomination process will be by application forms and the election process will be an election form with a slate of officers for the Executive Board presented by the current Board of Directors to be voted on by the membership. 

The election process will also include a secret vote to choose 4 Board Members at Large.  There is no limit to the number of nominees for Board Members at Large and all nominees will be on the ballot.

Term of office is 2 years except Treasurer which is a 4 year term.  Nominations are open effective immediately and close on June 7, 2020.  A list of duties and committees below:

Nominations are open to nominate yourself or another member.  It is strongly suggested, if nominating another member, the nominee is in agreement.

The information provided will be used by the nomination committee to select a slate of candidates best qualified to serve.  All nominees will be interviewed to insure interest and acceptance.

Selected candidates will be on the ballot for election as approved by the Board Of Directors.  Elections will be held electronically via Wild Apricot and a date to be determined by the current Board Of Directors.
